  • Graphic Designer

    Serves as a member of an energetic, results-oriented Marketing Department. Works directly with the Marketing Supervisor and Marketing Director to develop and implement marketing campaigns for BICSI products and services. Participates in brainstorming sessions, conceptual discussions, photo shoots, copywriting and printing/production considerations.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned. Performs tasks to support implementation of department-sponsored events, including but not limited to:

    • Works with the Marketing Supervisor and Marketing Director to interpret the needs for a project; develops design briefs by gathering information and data to clarify design issues; thinking creatively to produce new ideas; using innovation to redefine a design brief and meet the constraints of cost and time.
    • Meets with department supervisor and director to discuss project development.
    • Multi-tasking: Works on multiple department projects at once; using a wide range of digital media and design elements, including photography, video, infographics and; producing accurate and high-quality work; contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall briefs.
    • Works well in a team environment, with printers, copywriters, other designers, sales personnel, IT specialists and marketing specialists; working in tight deadlines.
      Providing cost comparisons for printers, postage and various other vendors.
      Involved with layout and design of a 60-page printed BICSI journal (magazine) on a bi-monthly basis. Compile photos, other art, color correct contributor’s art, gather ad materials and verify printing standards, create ads, etc.
    • Keeping detailed records of previous orders: printing price, postage cost, qty ordered, any notes to assist the next order.
    • Branding support:  Verify that corporate branding standards have been met.

    As with all members of the Marketing Department, serves as a liaison and representative for member needs including, but not limited to, the following:

    • Responds promptly to miscellaneous member and nonmember inquiries, via telephone, e-mail or other such appropriate method.
    • Maintains awareness of member needs/concerns.
    • Evaluates and forwards member concerns to department management.

  • Marketing Supervisor

    Serves as a member of an energetic, results-oriented Marketing Department. The primary responsibility of this position is the day-to-day operations of the Marketing Department including production coordination of marketing and communications publications and promotional materials for the organization. This includes organizing all in-coming jobs from internal and external constituents, assigning them to the proper staff member or contractor, and supervising the staff on completion of the projects and to assure a high quality and on-time result. This position will be responsible for maintaining communications and project status with other departments throughout the organization and reporting potential issues or delays to the department manager. The position will also be responsible for concept planning and scheduling resources.

    The position will also be responsible for a variety of support activities necessary to the mission of the Marketing Department including gathering background information for promotional materials, conferences, press releases, and other.  Responsible for making the necessary arrangements for all tradeshows and coordinating ad buys for marketing campaigns. The Supervisor will assist the Director of Marketing with the development and implementation of company-wide marketing plan.  The Supervisor will represent the department in meetings and make decisions in the absence of the manager.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned.

    • Develop production schedules for all marketing and communications publications and materials in conjunction with the Director of Marketing and assign to staff.
    • Coordinate advertising strategy including identifying appropriate
    • Coordinate advertising strategy including identifying appropriate publications and coordinating ad buys. Works with Director to ensure media is within budget appropriation.
    • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders for each publication and promotional items produced through the Marketing Department.
    • Coordinates BICSI trade shows to ensure all deadlines are met and material is sent to appropriate show.
    • Monitor and document the status of each project and ensure the Director of the Department is aware of potential delays or issues related to the materials produced in the Marketing Department.
    • Supervise the staff to ensure projects meet the stakeholder deadline.
    • Ensure that BICSI standards are maintained with special attention to logo use and other brand elements.
    • Assist staff with gathering background information and help write copy for press releases, conferences or other promotional materials if necessary.
    • Assist the Director of Marketing with the development and implementation of the company-wide marketing plan.
    • Manages and implements BICSI marketing partnership agreements.
    • Coordinate photo shoots if necessary.
    • Serve in a copywriting and editorial role as dictated by the needs of the Department.
    • Request and review advertising Insertion Orders.
    • Develop and maintain advertising schedule, submit ad materials, report leads.
    • Administer the advertising budget.
    • Administer the Media Partners agreements.
    • Administer the trade show budget.
    • Assist the Director of Marketing with developing the Marketing Department budget.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Continuing Education Credit Assessor

    The Continuing Education Credit Assessor analyzes, determines, validates, troubleshoots, problem solves, makes determinations and judgments about policies, as it relates to continuing education credits of the Associations’ credential holders. The person who is in this role will use reasonable judgement and assuring consistency while applying policy. The work in this role is highly detailed and has high-levels of work with emails, data administration and record keeping, and developing professional correspondence.

    PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    The position:

    1. Maintains expert knowledge of re-credentialing requirements, continuing education credits (CEC) policies and related processing procedures for BICSI credentialing programs.
    2. Reviews applications for (CEC) program and makes determinations using sound judgement in evaluating against the CEC policies to ensure required documents have been submitted and are in accordance with the policy.
    3. Audits credential holder continuing education records and examines, analyzes, evaluates high volume of complex eligibility determinations for CECs for credential holder re-certification.
    4. Makes approval or denial decisions as to if the submitted education is eligible to use toward recertification.
    5. Ensures that assessment and evaluation of continuing education activities are in alignment with established policies, procedures and standards.
    6. Performs in-depth complex data and document review, analyses and validation of continuing education policies. (i.e. course outlines, syllabus descriptions, including session seat time, sessions and courses, detailed descriptions, course materials, and certificates or transcripts).
    7. Performs a wide variety of analytical, evaluative activities in the assessment of policy related to CECs.
    8. Maintains credential holder records by reviewing “action items”, logging action items, and updating status and progress for open/ongoing CEC cases.
    9. Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
    10. Performs quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) review of work done.
    11. Resolves credential holder inquiries by effectively communicating complex policies and requirements through written and verbal communication. Provides policy reference for credential holders. Keeps stakeholders informed of progress.
    12. Identifies and resolves discrepancies in transactions and documents reviewed.
    13. Interacts with multiple departments to expedite processing and/or issue resolution.
    14. Creates and maintains CEC logging mechanisms.
    15. Handles archiving and records keeping tasks (i.e. expired credential holder files, return mail).

    16. Conducts the work necessary in the credentialing@bicsi.org email folder on assigned day.
    17. Assist in conceiving and developing improvements to the certification review process based on personal knowledge and vision, or user feedback.
    18. Contributes to the overall success of the company and ensure credential holder satisfaction.
    19. Participates in team meetings and training.
