Important Update for the BICSI EMEA Region

Like most companies, BICSI has experienced the economic impact of the COVID-19 global pandemic and the subsequent government public safety restrictions, travel bans, and mandatory lockdowns. Our global headquarters in Tampa and our Dubai office had limited operations during the past year, with all staff working remotely. We had to convert our major conferences and regional events to virtual-only activities worldwide, cancel or reschedule our in-person classes, and shift to online credentialing exams. BICSI staff and volunteers worked to adapt, improvise, and navigate these challenges to continue serving your needs as well as possible. However, recovering from the pandemic’s impact requires further changes in BICSI’s operations to continue serving you.

As we prepare to reopen our World Headquarters and recover from the pandemic, BICSI must take some necessary steps to continue serving our members, credential holders, and the ICT profession. For example, we will consolidate Dubai operations to the BICSI World Headquarters in Tampa, Florida, USA, beginning on 1 May 2021. Additionally, in the coming year, we are committed to finding new ways to increase local BICSI support.

What does this mean for you?

• The World Headquarters team in Tampa will now serve as your BICSI customer care experts. Please note the headquarters office hours below when you need to contact staff by telephone. Or you can email the team directly at bicsi@bicsi.org. Our goal is to respond to your email inquiries within 24-48 hours.
• BICSI will continue to hold virtual events allowing credential holders access to CECs throughout the year, including affordable, virtual access to the hybrid Fall Conference. If you are experiencing a hardship and cannot meet your recertification requirements, please contact the BICSI Headquarters staff to discuss your options at credentialing@bicsi.org.
