DD102: Applied Best Practices For Telecommunications Distribution Design

Course Description

Learn how to design telecommunications distribution systems in this comprehensive application-based class. DD102 is an intensive, hands-on course focused on the design of telecommunications distribution system. Offering skill building activities from Day 1, this course instructs you in real-world tasks, preparing you for design roles outside of the classroom. Real-life scenarios, schematic, and construction drawings are used to help you learn how to design codes and standards-compliant telecommunications infrastructure, beginning where the cabling enters the building to any telecommunications environment within the building. In addition to structured cabling, all facets of design for the support infrastructure, including telecommunications spaces, pathways, bonding and grounding, and firestopping are covered in depth
