COURSE DESCRIPTION

More and more devices are being made available on the market to accommodate PoE.  The switch from copper to varying category cables.  As technology improves so does the availability of endpoints for building services which causes workspace transformations. Industry standards are changed and modified to accommodate the changing landscape.

This course takes a closer look at what is currently available in the marketplace and how we should adapt to the changes on the horizon.

Amir Sekhavat, Global Director of Product Management & Enterprise Market Development – Superior Essex

Amir has 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry specializing in Copper communications cable products.  He has published several articles and holds patents related to data cable performance and connectivity. He is currently Chair of the CCCA Data Center subcommittee.
