Conference Policies for BICSI Winter 2027

Registration Cancellation Policy

If circumstances change and you need to change your in-person conference registration to a virtual registration or vice versa, please contact our BICSI Meeting Services department via email at bicsiwinter@bicsi.org to request the change.

If cancellation of your conference registration is necessary, you may cancel your registration by providing written notice to the BICSI Meeting Services department at bicsiwinter@bicsi.org. Our attendee cancellation policy is outlined below:

Conference registrations will be refunded if you notify BICSI of your cancellation in writing on or before 11:59 p.m. Eastern time, Monday, Jan. 18, 2027. A U.S.$99 fee may apply to any such cancellation.

Pre-Conference Masterclass registrations will be refundable if you notify BICSI of your cancellation in writing on or before 11:59 p.m. Eastern time, Monday, Jan. 18, 2027. A $20 cancellation fee may apply to any such cancellation. Those who registered for a Pre-Conference Masterclass and cancel after 11:59 p.m. Eastern time, Monday, Jan. 18, 2027 or who do not attend the masterclass are responsible for the entire masterclass registration fee. Substitution requests must be received by 3 p.m. Eastern time on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2027.

There will be no refunds given for any cancellations received after 11:59 p.m. Eastern time, Monday, Jan. 18, 2027. This can include, but is not limited to, failure to attend the conference and/or masterclass because of illness, alteration, or rescheduling of the conference by BICSI, or due to events beyond the parties’ reasonable control, such as travel problems, natural disaster or weather emergency, civil unrest, epidemic, public health emergency (declared or undeclared), or an act of terrorism. For cancellations received after the cutoff date with a balance due, the registration amount remains due in full.

Conference refunds approved by BICSI will be issued within 30 business days. All refunds will be issued back to the original payment form.

***Please remember that cancelling your conference registration does not automatically cancel your hotel and travel arrangements. Attendees are responsible for cancelling their own hotel and travel reservations.***

CEC Policy

  • Conferences are an ideal time to earn the continuing education credits (CECs) you need for credential recertification. For RCDDs, attending this conference fulfills the conference attendance requirement for recertification.  

    All BICSI credential holders will receive 15 CECs for attending the in-person conference in Orlando, Florida. The 15 CECs do not include the Pre-Conference Masterclass CECs, or the Pre-Conference Training Course CECs. All CECs earned from BICSI Winter attendance and/or pre-conference events will appear on your transcript approximately 30 business days after the conference.

    BICSI encourages you to take full advantage of the conference educational sessions to fulfill your CECs and conference credit requirements. Attendees are required to check in at the registration desk to pick up their credentials to receive the CECs awarded for the conference. As a responsibility of the professional ethics tenet, credential holders agree to continuing education to meet credential renewal requirements.

  • The CEC totals listed above do not include the Pre-Conference Masterclasses or Pre-Conference Training Courses. The number of CECs awarded for the Pre-Conference Masterclasses can be found in the Pre-Conference section of the conference agenda. To be certain you receive CECs for attending any Pre-Conference Masterclasses, all BICSI credential holders must check in no more than 30 minutes after the masterclass start time.

  • As part of the in-person conference attendee registration, attendees receive access to ICT Direct Winter 2027. Those who choose to attend both ICT Direct Winter 2027 and BICSI Winter 2027 will only receive CECs for one of the events. You will not receive credit for both events.
