Membership Options With Special Pricing

Eligible professionals can access reduced membership rates while receiving valuable BICSI member benefits, resources, and savings on conferences and industry events.

Eligible groups include:

  • Receive reduced Individual Membership pricing by providing proof of active-duty status.

    Required documentation:

    • Copy of a valid driver’s license or state ID.
    • Copy of active military orders or Military Leave and Earnings Statement (LES).

  • Individuals age 62 or older can receive reduced Individual Membership pricing by providing proof of age.

    Required documentation:

    • Valid form of ID showing name and year of birth.

  • Full-time students can access reduced Individual Membership pricing while gaining access to BICSI member benefits.

    Required documentation:

    • Copy of student ID.
    • Current transcript or course schedule.

    Additional details:
    Student memberships do not count toward district or region status and do not include voting rights but remain eligible for available BICSI member benefits.

  • Apprentices enrolled in a state-licensed apprenticeship program can receive reduced Individual Membership pricing.

    Required documentation:

    • Letter from the licensed apprenticeship program’s training director.
    • Letter must include program entry date and expected completion date.

  • BICSI-certified installers and technicians may qualify for reduced Individual Membership pricing.

    Additional details:
    Installers and technicians holding the Registered Communications Distribution Designer® (RCDD®) credential do not qualify for this membership rate.
