This credential is appropriate for professionals who are responsible for keeping telecommunications projects organized, documented, and moving forward across multiple stakeholders.
RTPM may be appropriate for professionals who manage or support telecommunications project delivery, including project managers, project coordinators, installation project leads, construction managers, consultants, and telecom installation professionals moving into project management responsibilities.
RTPM validates project management knowledge specific to telecommunications infrastructure projects, including the ability to support project initiation, execution, and closeout.
This includes knowledge related to:
- Reviewing project information
- Supporting project scope, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinating stakeholders and project communication
- Managing documentation and deliverables
- Supporting procurement and change management
