Zone Cabling: Are We Ready?
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Structure cabling is no longer just a LAN cabling. It gets a new role in the digital era providing an essential communication highway for fast and reliable data exchange of a variety of services.
With the rise of intelligent buildings, high power PoE, LED lighting, WiFi6, Sensor, and Multigigabit Ethernet, the cabling gets its importance again. Everyday technology advancements and automation of building systems require fast deployment cabling, for high-speed data transfers, enabling prompt moves, adds, and changes. Along with it, there is also a need for unique skill sets of the “Digital Ceiling” installers and engineers.
We need a new ride to carry on with implementing the future SCS, and the secret is hidden in the zone cabling.
This class was originally presented at the BICSI EMEA 2020 Conference.
