The Big Picture on Small Cells
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Small Cells play a pivotal role in bringing large amounts of data capacity to deal with the demand for wireless spectrum. In fact, it is estimated that Small Cells will make up almost 90% of all base stations by 2016. But what exactly are Small Cells? In this presentation, John Cocking, a Director of Engineering and Deployment for Goodman Networks' Professional Services Organization, will discuss how Small Cells are a viable architectural and business solution to the explosive mobile data growth.
This presentation was originally given on February 5, 2014, at BICSI's 2014 Winter Conference in Orlando, FL.
