BICSI Ethics Committee Mission Statement

The mission of the BICSI Ethics Committee is to establish and administer a code of ethics and standards of conduct that enhances the professional value of the BICSI members and those holding BICSI registrations and certifications.

BICSI Ethics Committee General Task

The BICSI Ethics Committee has the responsibility of administering the following:

  • the BICSI Code of Ethics
  • the BICSI Credential Holders Standards of Conduct
  • the Principals for the BICSI Board of Directors and Committees
  • the Proctor Code of Ethics and Confidentiality Agreement

Charges of misconduct against BICSI members or those holding BICSI certifications, found in violation of the above codes and standards, the BICSI Bylaws and the BICSI Articles of Incorporation will be reviewed by the Ethics Committee. The Ethics Committee will take the necessary action to resolve the issue after a full and thorough investigation of the charges.

BICSI members and those holding BICSI registrations and certifications are held to the highest principles of professional and ethical behavior. The Ethics Committee has been established, in part, to promote these principles.
