First Webinars of the BICSI-CALA Technical Series was a Success

We are proud to announce the first of a series of webinars presented by the BICSI-CALA District held on Thursday, 7 March turned out to be a success.

Part 1: "Updates on the Technologies and Considerations of the New Generation of Intelligent Buildings," presented by Christian Ramírez Montilla (RCDD, DCDC | Technical Manager Andean Region | The Siemon Company | BICSI Colombia Country Secretary), addressed the role of modern infrastructure and how devices, low-voltage applications and a converged infrastructure facilitate this change. The opportunities and design criteria of buildings increasingly connected and aligned with a digital revolution was also explored.

Part 2 of the webinar shared information on "Recommendations for the Design and Implementation of ICT Systems in Intelligent Buildings" and was presented by BICSI Colombia Country Chair Hugo Santos (RCDD | Technical Director | Dittel SAS). This webinar focused on showing the effect of monitoring practices defined in the TDMM and /or ITSIMM (design and implementation of ICT systems), which could overcome certain shortcomings in the development of projects from its early stages.

Thank you to those who have attended and to our presenters as well.

Stay tuned—more webinars will be coming soon.
