Dear BICSI Global Members,

What a year it has been for BICSI Global! I am happy to have been able to share with you so many of the events we have held around the world in 2018. Recently, our President-Elect, Todd Taylor, RCDD, NTS, OSP, traveled throughout Asia to attend several BICSI events in Singapore, Japan, and the Philippines, speaking with our volunteers and members in the area. I have heard nothing but great feedback from these events!

As I mentioned in my last letter, the BICSI Board of Directors met in Puerto Rico for our annual Strategic Planning Session and Board Meeting. I am happy to report that one of the major advancements to come from the time we met together was the approval of the new Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Region. President Jeff Beavers, RCDD, OSP, CFHP, sent a letter out announcing the new Region earlier this week, and that same information is below in the Region Connection if you missed it.

I am looking forward to meeting with many of you at the upcoming Winter Conference in Orlando, Florida, USA, and I wish you all a safe and happy holiday season and new year!

Warm regards,

Rick Ciordia, PE, RCDD, DCDC, RTPM
BICSI Global Region Director
