BICSI Cares is a year-round effort that has given money to charities to help build schools, feed the hungry, prevent abuse and violence, combat illiteracy, and provide for an overall positive environment. Over the years, BICSI Cares has made contributions to more than 50 organizations. To date, more than $1 million has been donated to improve the lives of children. 2023 Winter Charity is Operation HeartF.E.L.T

All funds raised will benefit operationheartfelt.com. Make a donation at the BICSI Cares booth at the 2023 Winter Conference and receive a BICSI Cares door prize ticket. Drawing will be held on Thursday morning during closing activities.

Operation HeartF.E.L.T. (Feeding Empty Little Tummies) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide nutritious meals to students and their siblings on weekends, holidays, and extended school break periods. We believe that every child deserves the advantage good nutrition provides to physical, emotional, and intellectual development.

There are children in Hernando County who rely on school breakfast and lunch during the week and go without food on the weekends. Food insecurity is a growing problem and interferes with a child’s ability to learn.
