2022 Fall Conference & Exhibition Live Event FAQs

  • When is the 2022 BICSI Fall Conference & Exhibition?

    The BICSI Fall Conference & Exhibition will be held Sunday, 25 September through Thursday, 29 September in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Convention Center.  The Pre-Conference Masterclasses will be available on Sunday and Monday. The exhibit hall will be open Monday through Wednesday.

  • Where is the 2022 BICSI Fall Conference & Exhibition?

    The BICSI Fall Conference & Exhibition is being held at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Convention Center.

  • Is BICSI’s ICT Direct – Fall 2022 the virtual option for this conference?

    BICSI’s ICT Direct – Fall 2022 is the virtual option for the 2022 Fall Conference.  This event will be held online from 6 October – 6 November.  Separate registration options are available here.

    ICT Direct – Fall 2022 will include all educational presentations which occurred at the in-person Fall Conference as on demand, plus additional bonus presentations.  ICT Direct – Fall 2022 will not include an exhibit hall or pre-conference masterclasses.
  • If I attend both the BICSI Fall Conference & Exhibition in Las Vegas and the ICT Direct Fall 2022 virtual conference, will I receive CEC’s for both?

    No, you will not receive CEC’s for both conferences as the content offered is the same.

  • What is the difference between a Pre-Conference Masterclass and the concurrent sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday?

    The pre-conference masterclasses are three to six hours in length and are not included in the cost of the registration fee or available virtually. Individuals are able to earn additional CECs by registering and paying for the masterclasses.

    The concurrent sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday are one-hour sessions that are included with the conference registration fee. Individuals do not need to select the concurrent sessions they wish to attend.

    Please Note: Pre-Conference Masterclasses will not be available for virtual attendees.

  • Am I able to bring a guest or spouse?

    Yes – The guest registration fee will include access to the exhibit hall only on Monday and Tuesday.

    No guest hospitality lounge will be available at the 2022 Fall Conference & Exhibition.

  • How do I sign up for the free registration that comes with my company’s corporate membership?

  • Do you offer a special registration for members of the press?

  • Is housing included in the conference registration fee?

    No. Attendees must book their housing separately.  Special rates are available to attendees at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino through our official housing site

  • I registered but have not received my confirmation email. How do I get it sent to me?

  • How many CECs will I earn at the conference?

    Click here to view a complete list of CECs earned, per credential by attending the Fall Conference & Exhibition. Attendance at the 2022 BICSI Fall Conference & Exhibition fulfills the conference attendance requirement for RCDD renewal.

    CECs will appear on your transcript approximately 30 business days after the conference.

  • How is BICSI addressing safety and health concerns for the event?

      • BICSI is working diligently, hand-in-hand with internal and external advisors and experts who are guiding informed conversations and evidence-based decision-making.
      • Given the evolving nature of the vaccine rollout, current environment, global considerations, and more, these conversations and decisions are fluid. We expect that the planning and protocols will change over time, and our plans are built with that evolution in mind.
      • We will continue to stay up-to-date on all relevant guidance from both global and local health authorities.
      • We are also in coordination and ongoing conversations with the Mandalay Bay Resort & Convention Center.
      • As BICSI prepares for the event, we will continue to build the comprehensive on-site preparedness plan to address the safety and well-being of all attendees. We will provide details about the on-site preparedness plan to all attendees in the coming months.
  • What health and safety protocols will attendees need to plan for onsite?

    BICSI will implement specific health and safety protocols appropriate to the public health circumstances existing at the time of the conference. BICSI will provide further details on these requirements as we get closer to the event.

    Compliance with some or all of the protocols adopted by BICSI may be mandatory for in-person attendance and participation at the conference

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS (CECs)

  • How many CECs will I earn at the conference?

    Coming Soon is a complete list of CECs earned, per credential by attending the Winter Conference in person or virtually. Attendance at the 2022 BICSI Winter Conference & Exhibition fulfills the conference attendance requirement for RCDD renewal whether you are attending in-person or virtually.

    CECs will appear on your transcript approximately 30 business days after the conference.

  • How do I know that I have checked in and will receive my CECs?

    For the in-person event, you must check-in at the registration desk to pick up your badge. Once you have picked up your badge you are officially checked into the conference and you do not need to do anything else.

    For the virtual event, once you have logged into the platform you are officially checked into the conference and are not required to do anything else.

    For the pre-conference masterclasses you must check-in to the masterclass within 30 minutes after the start time to receive CECs for the masterclass.

    CECs will appear on your transcript approximately 30 business days after the conference.

  • What is the conference hotel and when will I be able to book my reservation?

    The official hotel for the BICSI Winter Conference and Exhibition is the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort & Convention Center. Special rates are available to attendees at the Orlando World Center Marriott through our official housing site.

    BICSI has secured special reduced rates of $279 per night at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort & Convention Center – discounted rate ends 7 January 2022Rates do not include tax or optional resort fee. By booking within the BICSI official hotel block, the $35 nightly resort fee is optional.

  • Does the hotel require a deposit?

    When making a reservation, a deposit of the first night's room and tax will be charged to your credit card immediately. Please cancel 72 hours prior to arrival for a full refund of first night's room and tax.
  • Is there a fee for parking?

    Registered hotel guests of the Orlando World Center Marriott will receive a 50% discount on self-parking fees.

    For guests not staying at the Orlando World Center Marriott there is a self-parking fee of $24 plus tax or valet parking fee of $40 plus tax.

VIRTUAL EVENT

  • Do I need to download or install any software?

    No, it is all hosted online on your browser. You will only need access to the Internet.

  • Which browser is best for video streaming?

    We recommend Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge. We do not recommend Microsoft Internet Explorer.

  • What can I do to improve my video streaming quality?

    High-speed internet connectivity will ensure high-quality video streaming.

  • Can I login using my phone or tablet?

    Yes, but we recommend you do not use the iPad Pro.

  • Can I test my system before the event?

    Yes, you will be provided login credentials to test the system and get familiar with the interface beginning at 07:30 a.m. EST on Tuesday, 1 February 2022.

  • How do I log-in on day-of?

    Your login details will be included in your confirmation email and will be resent again the week before the start of the event from bicsi@bicsi.org. You can use these details to access the online event.

  • How long will the on-demand content be available online after the event concludes?

    The on-demand content will be hosted for thirty (30) days following the close of the event.
