The panel will be moderated by distinguished industry veteran Steve Surfaro. Mr. Surfaro brings more than 30 years of security industry experience and is a subject matter expert in physical and cyber security solutions and has expanded his focus to include
next generation video codecs, forensic video, predictive and prescriptive analytics, data science, IoT, smart cities, security automation and UAS and UGV systems. Surfaro is Chairman of Security Industry Association’s Public Safety Working Group
and Co-Chair of ASIS International’s Security Applied Sciences Council. In 2012, Steve was honored by BICSI with the Harry J. Pfister Award for Excellence in the Telecommunications Industry for lifetime achievement. He is a regular contributor
to industry publications, has been featured in podcasts and programs on platforms including CNBC and NPR, and is a correspondent covering technology trade shows.
Lisa is a successful serial entrepreneur having grown her last company Revel Systems to over 700 employees and $200M in funding with a successful exit. She is now taking this expertise of building companies to help save people’s lives.

Anson Fong is the CISO for Los Angeles World Airports and has 15 years of information security experience. He is responsible for information security at LAX International Airport and Van Nuys Airport. He specializes in Cyber Security Operation, Security Auditing, Business Continuity Planning, and Computer Forensics. he has successfully implemented a state-of-the-art Cyber Security Operation Center, deployed the Airport IT COOP Plan, performed computer forensics with multiple law enforcement agencies, and provides consultation on IT security strategies and best practices. With his security initiative “Business Continuity Information Security”, He has recently won the 2017 CSO50 Award and IT Excellence Award in Security.He
holds a BS degree and CISSP certifications. He is a member of Southern California CISO Executive Summit governing body and Cyber Security Workforce Team of Airport Council International(ACI).
Mark Jules leads Hitachi’s Smart Spaces and Video Intelligence Group, which develops software and hardware solutions that support safer, smarter and more efficient communities through connected intelligence. Mark joined Hitachi in 2014, following its acquisition of the Avrio RMS Group, a public safety solutions company, where he served as the company’s CEO for more than a decade. Prior to Avrio, he was the President and Founder of Protean Solutions, a provider of mobile platforms for battlefield and emergency communications
