BICSI Updates Regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The safety and well-being of our members, credential holders, customers and staff is of utmost importance to BICSI. We are actively monitoring the situation surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) and are following the recommendations set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).

We want to update you on the steps we are continuing to take in response to the global pandemic. In an effort to continue serving our customers while keeping staff safe, BICSI staff continues to work from home until further notice. We are leveraging the technological tools and resources available to continue providing the level of service you deserve and have come to expect from our team.

We are doing our best to minimize any disruptions resulting from this change by giving you the ability to continue contacting us using the same direct phone numbers and email addresses in use before this change. The BICSI main phone lines will remain open and will continue to connect you with our staff, regardless of where staff are physically located.

Furthermore, we have transitioned to offering most BICSI training classes in a virtual format (with the exception of IN250 and TE350), and we are working with Pearson VUE, our testing provider, to deliver BICSI certification exams virtually. BICSI also continues to offer dozens of courses online via BICSI CONNECT to get the training you need to prepare for your certification exam and the CECs you need to renew your certification. Furthermore, BICSI continues to host webinars and virtual ICT Forums to provide you even more options to further your education and earn CECs.

We are tremendously thankful that our precautions seem to be effective as none of our staff have tested positive for COVID-19, and we will continue doing everything we can to keep it that way. We take these new measures out of an abundance of caution to protect our staff, their family members, and others around us.

Event Updates

Currently, BICSI offers virtual classroom training, webinars and virtual ICT Forums as a means to get you the ICT education you need. Certification examinations are also available in a virtual format.

The 2020 BICSI Europe, Middle East and Africa Conference & Exhibition will take place as a full virtual conference 17-18 November 2020. In addition, don't miss the 2021 BICSI Virtual Winter Conference & Exhibition 28 February - 4 March 2020. Registration will open soon.

All other previously scheduled BICSI in-person conferences and events have been postponed until further notice but are subject to change as necessary. These events include, but are not limited to:

  • The 2020 BICSI Singapore Conference & Exhibition has been postponed until January 2021.
  • The 2020 BICSI India Mumbai Conference & Exhibition has been postponed April 2021.
  • The 2020 BICSI UK & Ireland Conference & Exhibition has been postponed June 2021.
  • The 2020 BICSI South Pacific Conference & Exhibition has been postponed May 2021.
  • The 2020 BICSI CALA Colombia Conference & Exhibition had been postponed until 19-20 May 2021.

BICSI will continue to monitor activities and make decisions as appropriate regarding the coronavirus and strongly encourages following CDC guidelines to mitigate the spread of disease. We will continue to keep you updated with any new information as it becomes available.
