I would
like to extend to you a personal invitation to attend the 2007 BICSI
Winter Conference in Orlando, Florida. January is a prime time of
the year for traveling to Orlando, a warm and friendly venue to
learn, network and re-energize with business partners and friends
for 2007. Please take a moment to review this Web site. There are
great educational and networking opportunities planned especially
for you! If you believe education and training is important for

business, the 2007 BICSI Winter Conference is the event to attend.
With over 3,000 registered guests and over 200 exhibitors expected,

The BICSI Winter Conference promises to provide

Cyber
Lounge
Computer kiosks and wireless access are available on site in the
City Hall Lobby.
Attire
Most functions and events conducted by BICSI are informal, and business
casual attire is appropriate.
Name
Badge
You must wear your badge to enter all conference functions. There
will be a $20 name badge remake fee on site for each lost badge.
Roster
If you are interested in knowing if a colleague has registered and
signed in for the Winter Conference, the roster will be available
online at the computer kiosks in the Cyber Lounge.
Smoking
In accordance with the Florida Clean Air Act, Gaylord Palms Resort
& Convention Center is a smoke free environment. Smoking is
permitted in designated areas only.
Guest
Program
The Guest/Spouse Hospitality Lounge is open to registered guests/spouses
on Monday through Thursday during the conference. Continental breakfast
is served Monday through Thursday from 8-9 a.m. in the Guest/Spouse
Hospitality Lounge with special morning presentations on Monday
through Wednesday.
You qualify
as a registered guest/spouse if you are accompanying a registered
conference attendee and you are not in the information transport
systems industry.
You must wear
your guest badge for admission to the Guest/Hospitality Lounge and
the Evening Receptions and Exhibits.

CECs
The 2007 BICSI Winter Conference fulfills the conference attendance
requirement for RCDD® renewal. All RCDDs attending the Winter
Conference will receive 15 continuing education credits (CECs),
provided they register or check in on site by 3 p.m., local time,
on Tuesday, January 23.
CECs for NTS,
OSP and WD Specialty designations, ITS Installer 2 and ITS Technician
credentials will be based upon sessions attended. Check the list
below for the maximum possible number of CECs that may be earned
(based upon the sessions attended and not counting the Pre-Conference
Seminars):

Attendance
at the general sessions will be tracked and you must check in no
later than 15 minutes after the session start-time to receive CECs
for NTS, OSP and WD Specialty designations, ITS Installer 2 and
ITS Technician credentials.
Be sure to provide
your member or Installer number on the registration form for ease
in tracking hours earned.
Separate CECs
will be awarded for the pre-conference seminars. You must check
in or register on site no later than 30 minutes after the pre-conference
seminar start-time to receive pre-conference seminar CECs.
Note
RCDDs must check in or register on site by 3 p.m., local time, on
Tuesday, January 23, to receive Winter Conference CECs and to fulfill
the conference attendance requirement. CECs earned from the Winter
Conference and/or seminar attendance will appear on your transcript
approximately 30 days after the conference.
Registered
Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD®)
Throughout this announcement, there are participants’ names
followed by the RCDD designation. RCDD stands for Registered Communications
Distribution Designer. This designation indicates the person has
demonstrated knowledge in the design, integration and implementation
of information transport systems (voice, data, video, audio and
other lowvoltage systems) and their related infrastructure components. |
