Winter Conference Highlights

In addition to the educational general sessions, there are many other functions and activities that are included in the price of your conference registration. Unless noted, the events will take place at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center^TM.

 

Awards Banquet Dinner, entertainment and awards program on Wednesday night. Evening Receptions and Exhibits Beverages and heavy hors d’oeuvres Sunday through Wednesday evenings. First Timer’s Orientation Learn about BICSI and the conference on Monday from 7:30-8 a.m. and from 4-4:30 p.m. Continental Breakfasts and Exhibits Exhibits will be open in the morning on Tuesday and Wednesday for conference attendees. Enjoy complimentary continental breakfast while you browse the exhibits. Region Luncheons On Wednesday, a luncheon is scheduled for each BICSI Region, as well as one for global attendees. All conference participants are invited to attend. Region lunches are a great opportunity to network with your peers and Region Director. Cyber Lounge Computer kiosks and wireless access are available for keeping in touch with your office, checking e-mail, accessing the Internet, requesting a Winter Conference certificate, viewing the conference roster, etc. Located in the City Hall Lobby. BICSI Central Your member services center for BICSI. Pick up your conference gift and meet with the BICSI products and services experts at BICSI Central located adjacent to the main registration desk in the City Hall Lobby. RCDD Lounge A quiet, relaxing place for RCDDs to visit. Exhibitor Product Forums Dozens of product presentations by exhibitors on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings in the Product Forum Theater located in the Exhibit Hall. Door Prizes Presented on Thursday morning. BICSI Cares Presentation and Drawing BICSI Cares, Inc. is a charity arm of BICSI, which collects donations at each BICSI conference and gives 100 percent of the contributions to a local children’s charity. The charity presentation will be held on Thursday morning, followed by a door prize drawing. Visit the BICSI Cares booth at the conference for more information.

We’ve arranged additional activities for you and your guests! These require separate fees and registration. Pre-Conference Seminars Earn extra CECs on Sunday and Monday. Guest Program Spouses and guests will have plenty to do. Design and Installation Courses Offered before and after the Conference. Exams Scheduled for Monday morning. BICSI Golf Tournament BICSI Golf Tournament is a Monday tradition at each conference. Take this opportunity to network with peers and clients at Eagle Creek Golf Club on Monday, January 22, with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. Conference attendees, exhibitors, business colleagues, guests and spouses are welcome to participate. The distinctive Eagle Creek Golf Club is a 7,198 yard, par 73 championship golf course with Mini Verde greens. Eagle Creek Golf Club offers five par 5’s with dramatic bulkheads and over 90 white sand bunkers that are reminiscent of those found in Scotland and England.
