President's Message
I
would like to personally invite you to join us as an exhibitor for the
2007 BICSI Spring Conference in Dallas, Texas. This is a great opportunity
for you, in a new venue.
As an exhibitor, you will find that the information transport systems
(ITS) individuals who are planning on attending this event come from the
United States, Canada, as well as around the globe, yet many have at least
two things in common. First of all, many attendees have projects they
are planning or are in the process of working on now. This is a conference
for hardworking and committed ITS professionals. Secondly, most attendees
are expanding their business to meet industry demands for new and improved
products. Many of our attendees are specialists in design and installation
of ITS. However, they have learned that the cabling work is the hard part
of any project. Now they are expanding their business by offering customers
a full range of low-voltage solutions, ranging from voice and data to
security, controls and other building management systems.
BICSI members and other attendees at this conference are getting larger
and larger shares of work on each construction project. And they will
be in Dallas looking for solutions from you. As usual, we focus the attendees’
participation in the Exhibit Hall by providing liberal food and beverage
during all exhibit hours. We promise to bring qualified prospects to your
display. The rest is up to you. Don’t miss this opportunity to meet
with the ITS professionals who specify, design and install your products
and use your services. I look forward to seeing everyone in Dallas.

Who is BICSI?
BICSI® is a professional association supporting the information transport
systems (ITS) industry with information, education and knowledge assessment
for individuals and companies. BICSI serves more than 24,000 ITS professionals,
including designers, installers and technicians, who provide the fundamental
infrastructure for elecommunications, audio/video, life safety and automation.
Through courses, conferences, publications and professional registration
programs, BICSI staff and volunteers assist ITS professionals in delivering
critical products and services, and offer opportunities for continual
improvement and enhanced professional stature. Headquartered in Tampa,
Florida, BICSI membership spans nearly 100 countries. Each year, BICSI’s
more than 24,000 ITS professionals choose from domestic and international
conferences to hone their skills and knowledge, network with peers and
earn the continuing education credits (CECs) necessary to maintain certification
as BICSI-registered designers and installers.
BICSI conferences draw a diverse group of decision-makers from across
the country and around the world who are actively seeking the latest solutions
available in the market today. This high-quality audience includes:
• RCDD®s (Registered Communications Distribution Designers)
• ITS Design Consultants
• ITS Contractors
• Facility Owners and Managers
• Outside Plant (OSP) Engineers
• Communications Resellers and VARs

Benefits of Exhibiting
What separates this event from other exhibitor venues is the strength
of the associated educational sessions. These sessions attract serious
ITS professionals who have paid a significant fee to attend the conference
and view the exhibition. As a result, you will meet highly motivated prospects
who are intent on learning the latest developments, solutions and practices
surrounding ITS.
Exceptional Traffic
There are no conference sessions or training scheduled during exhibit
hours. To ensure a crowd at your booth, BICSI provides hors d’oeuvres
and beverages (alcoholic and nonalcoholic) during evening exhibit hours,
lunch and beverages during midday exhibit hours and continental breakfast
during morning exhibit hours. In addition, exhibits and conference sessions
are all located under one roof at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention
Center—ensuring higher attendance at the exhibition.
Company Exposure
BICSI expects over 1,500 attendees and visitors to view the exhibits.
Each exhibitor also gains additional exposure through a listing and company
description in the on-site BICSI Spring Conference Program and on the
BICSI Web site (www.bicsi.org). A link to your company’s Web site
will be included if you provide it in your description.
Conference Participation
Because exhibit time does not conflict with educational sessions, you
have the opportunity to meet even more prospects during these sessions.
You receive at least two registrations with full onference privileges
with your exhibit space package.
